This was a full fence build - no repairs, no patching, no cutting corners. We handled the entire job from scratch, including layout, post setting, panel installation, and gate setup along a long stretch of rural property in Silex, MO. Rolling terrain like this doesn't forgive sloppy work, so getting everything lined out correctly before a single post went in the ground was critical.
That's where the optical level comes in. Before any digging started, we used it to establish a consistent reference line across the uneven ground. On a fence run this long, even small errors in layout compound fast. Getting that part right upfront is what keeps the finished line looking clean and holding tight from end to end.
Panels and posts went in one section at a time, working down the fence line with our service truck and skid steer running in tandem. Having the right equipment on site - and knowing how to use it together - is what keeps a job like this moving without cutting corners on quality. Every post had to be set solid, and every panel had to sit flush and secure.
The gate setup at the entry point rounded out the job. A fence is only as good as its weakest access point, and a properly hung gate that swings clean and latches solid matters just as much as the posts holding it.
At Workman Mobile Welding, we handle more than repairs. Custom fence builds, agricultural fabrication, on-site welding - if it involves metal and it needs to work on a farm, we bring the equipment and the expertise to get it done in the field.
