Excavator Attachment Pivot Ear Repair in Valley Park

Here's what we were working with on this one. The pivot ear had completely failed - the welds let go and the one was completely cracked, and the other ear was completely broke off. We cut away everything that had failed, cleaned up the base material, and got the ear back into proper alignment before touching it with a weld. That step matters more than most people realize. If the fit-up is off even slightly, the pins won't seat correctly and the attachment won't operate the way it's supposed to.

Once everything was lined up, we welded it back into place and added heavy-duty reinforcement gussets around the repair area. Those gussets aren't just there to fill space - they redistribute load across a wider area and add long-term durability to a spot that's already been stressed once.
